BlueSecurity E-mail | # | General, Links, Internet — jimmybop @ 7:55 pm

(Edit: I have been receiving alot of hits on this issue, for more up to date posts and links on the topic check out this blog: http://www.realtechnews.com/posts/3011
But please note that this e-mail is a HOAX… not true, continue to use Blue Security… This was just an attempted by the spamers to scare you to stop using this program because it really does work!)

———————-
So I got this letter in my e-mail about BlueSecurity.com, a anti-spam service I signed up for. Anyone else get this???

Hey,

You are recieving this email because you are a member of BlueSecurity (http://www.bluesecurity.com).

You signed up because you were expecting to recieve a lesser amount of spam, unfortunately, due to the tactics used by BlueSecurity, you will end up recieving this message, or other nonsensical spams 20-40 times more than you would normally.

How do you make it stop?

Simple, in 48 hours, and every 48 hours thereafter, we will run our current list of BlueSecurity subscribers through BlueSecurity’s database, if you arent there.. you wont get this again.

We have devised a method to retrieve your address from their database, so by signing up and remaining a BlueSecurity user not only are you opening yourself up for this, you are also potentially verifying your email address through them to even more spammers, and will end up getting up even more spam as an end-result.

By signing up for bluesecurity, you are doing the exact opposite of what you want, so delete your account, and you will stop recieving this.

Why are we doing this?

Its simple, we dont want to, but BlueSecurity is forcing us. We would much rather not waste our resources and send you these useless mails.

Its simple, we dont want to, but BlueSecurity is forcing us. We would much rather not waste our resources and send you these useless mails, but do not believe for one second that we will stop this tirade of emails if you choose to stay with BlueSecurity.
Just remember one thing when you read this, we didnt do this to you, BlueSecurity did.

If BlueSecurity decides to play fair, we will do the same.

Just remove yourself from BlueSecurity, and make it easier on you.

“After a long illness, the obit said.He had re-injured the ribs he had broken riding after the doctor three nights ago, that was obvious, but it wasnt just pain that made his eyes blaze from his whitened face like that.Mrs Krenmitzs four brats downstairs. He could not tell her because it would hurt her badly, and in spite of all the pain she had afforded him, he found he could not hurt her in that way..

I got this e-mail three times, once from a Helen Crowell and another from Kareem Grant and a third from Elliott Farmer…. the last paragraph is all random on each… its really weird… i dont get it…. please feel free to post your thoughts about this, and if you have gotten this e-mail also.

  1. They don’t have access to Bluesecurity lists. They already have your email on their database, else how did they spam you in the first place? Don’t fall for it. We hjave to make them give up before we do. Remember, there are more spammed than spammers!
    PS
I sent back these emails with this in big red letters-
YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE SPAMMED ME IN THE FIRST PLACE. KEEP SENDING. MY BLUESECURITY RATING WILL GO UP. HOORAH!!

    or

You should not have spammed me in the first place. I do not care. I have all day to weed out email. Only real a***-hole spammer would respond in this way, anyway. Anybody responsible would stop. So bring it on!! My blue security ratings will go up. hoorah!!

  2. You were being selectively spammed.
The spammers filtered their mailing lists and compared the filtered list with the original. Te result were potential blue security users, so they spammed them with warning messages. But right now the Blue Security site is down. It was attacked (illegally of course) by spammers.
