So one year ago today, the world has gotten a little sadder. March 31st 2005, Comedian Mitch Hedberg had died. I have made several posts about Mitch over the past year or so, you can check them out as I have a Category on him (currently the category list is on the left bar of this layout).

Mitch, you are missed man.

So just a random thought today. I share a bathroom with two other guys. The toilet paper holder can hold two rolls of toilet paper. The weird thing is, both of them seem to run out at the same time. You would think one would disappear, and then when the other would start being used, the empty one would be replaced. You know, kind of like a warning. So whats up with that???

So no content to update on here, but did change a few things on this blog. I have first updated the about me section. I changed the photo on the left hand side here to a photo of my “Overrated” t-shirt in honor of Gerry Mcnamara. I can not wait to see Syracuse kick some butt this turny. Also a few days ago I added a link to another fun blog to read, check it out: The Crazy Rants of Samantha Burns. So thats it… come back again soon!

Next big thing in advertisement

So if you haven’t seen it yet, check out this video. The real life Simpsons:

This is the latest and popular Viral Videos on the Internet today. And this wont disappear anytime soon like SNL’s Lazy Sunday as the company who made it, along with the company who owns the rights to the Simpsons decided to let people download this video. You may not realize this from watching the video, but this is actually an advertisement for the television station, Sky One network, that airs new Simpson episodes in the United Kingdom.

I suspect that this will be the first in a long line of advertisements to come via Viral Videos. These videos are easier then ever to see with sites like You Tube and the like. The key is to make the videos interesting and fun enough for people to want to share them. I foresee that in order to keep the Viral Videos in the state that they are, as mostly amateur unknown people in the videos (excluding clips from your favorite cartoon/tv show) companies will have contests to make commercials for them. This is the case with Firefox’s new ad campaign. Firefox Clips () is a contest for amateur film makers to submit their own versions on how to get the word out about Firefox. I think in the near future, the winner or more popular versions of the commercial will be passed along very soon.

No big post for today as I am packing up my computer currently to bring it home for the start of spring break
Just wanted to say Go Syrcause, as they play at 7pm est tonight….. as I will be working when the game is on.

A Meditation On the Speed Limit - Google Video

This video is about a bunch of students who went out on a highway and drove 4 across doing 55 miles per hour. It caused a great traffic stir as you can see. I’ve always wondered about doing something like that before while driving on some highways. Check out the video While I go watch: This Divided State (2005). This should be an interesting film.
