While looking up a word at m-w.com there was a fun link on the front page for the most looked up words of 2005. I am actualy a bit suprised of the number 1 word of the year, integrity. Other words on the list include tsunami , Refugee and filibuster.
Merriam-Webster Online Words of the Year 2005.
So I have noticed lately that there has been a number of people viewing my fireworks photos of Cinderella’s castle a few posts ago. So because of that, here are a couple more photos of the Castle at Walt Disney World that I have taken during my Disney College Program last semester. Hope you enjoy!

The picture below was taken on the beach of the Polynesian Resort at Walt Disney World during one of the showings of Holiday Wishes. Notice the many fireworks around the park. This is only the 2nd show that have used the parameter fireworks (the first being Hallowishes a few months before). It was very awesome to see them inside the park, even more so during the New Years Fireworks:

At some Technology show recently, Yahoo! showed a demo of their new Yahoo! photos website. It is pretty cool looking and looks very user friendly. If they offer hotlinking to other websites for free, I might just have to try them out…. but for the moment, I am not giving up my Photobucket account just yet.
Check out the video demo of the new Yahoo! photos site here at demo.com:

A few months ago I made a post about Dream on Silly Dreamer. Now today you can own your own copy of the movie with lots of bonus features. You can get your copy right from the Dreamer website. Also you can get it from Amazon, but amazon does take a major cut from the sales though… Here is the info about the DVD:
——————————

On March 25, 2002, more than 200 Disney artists working at the studio’s legendary Feature Animation department in Burbank were told that their services were no longer needed by the company. It took one uncomfortable gathering with the President of Feature Animation, now dubbed “The Tom Meeting”, to kill 75 years of a beloved animated tradition. The company, best known for its hand-drawn animated features, no longer wanted artists to draw for them.
DREAM ON SILLY DREAMER is the new animated documentary, from Director Dan Lund and Producer Tony West, that tells this tale. It features interviews recorded only seconds after the now infamous “Tom Meeting”. In this documentary, you will meet a handful of these artists, hear their side of the story and share in their recollections of “the good old days”.
Told as a modern day fairy tale, Dreamer pays homage to the classic Winnie The Pooh shorts. An artist’s sketch book becomes the viewer’s window into this documentary realm with original, animated vignettes helping to tell a side of the story that the world has never heard. This film will touch anyone who has ever dreamed, believed in fairy tales, wished upon a star or shared in a special Disney moment.
Packed with more than two and a half hours of extras, this DVD will entertain, enlighten and hold tight the memories of a place in time that is no more.

Not many people know that Mickey actually has an older brother.
“When Walt Disney opened his animation studio in 1923, he spent four years producing The Alice Comedies, a popular series of shorts featuring a live girl in a cartoon world. After four years, Walt created a new character – Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Walt produced 26 Oswald cartoons, which were distributed by Universal and well-received by audiences. However, on a trip to New York to renew his contract for Oswald, Walt discovered a clause in his contract that gave Universal ownership of his popular new character. On the train ride back to Hollywood, Walt was devastated but realized he needed to create a new character – one that he would own entirely – and during that long trip across the country, Mickey Mouse was born.”
As of today Disney now reowns the rights to Oswald.

So on my Gmail account in the “web clips” I found this really cool… It pointed me to here: http://www.engadget.com/2006/02/04/lapd-to-test-squad-car-launched-gps-darts-to-track-high-speed-ch/
Which in turn linked me to Boing Boing: GPS-enabled dart
Which sent me here: LA times: LAPD Pursues High-Tech End to High-Speed Chases
But anyways… LAPD is going to test out some new Tech… using a gun installed on police cars which will shoot GPS sticky balls onto cars they will chasing…. Which will track the cars so the police would not have to follow as closely/as fast…. Pretty cool I think…. hope it works well…
So yeahh.. Sorry for the lack of post… Was busy working for the mouse in Florida…. whats a guy to do?
