Hitchhiker’s Guide shirt at the Disney Store | # | General, Disney, h2g2 — jimmybop @ 3:24 pm

I went into work today, and look what we got in:
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy T-shirt from Disney Store

From what I know, they are only at the Disney Store. They were not listed online, so you must go to your local mall and pick it up if you want one. They (and most adult t-shirt) are $12.50, or 2 for $20. If you really want one, but cant get to the store, call up a store, and they can mail it to you for a small charge (i believe around $5ish, sent via FedEX ground). Here is a unoffical listing of stores and phone numbers (If you never been to a particular store, call before you visit as this list might be a little out of date): http://www.hiddenmickeys.org/Stores/storelocations.html
So go get yourself one.

Check out the website and go see the movie now in thearters (or if outside the US, it will be comming out soon!)

Phone A Stranger | # | General, Disney, wdwcp — jimmybop @ 1:53 pm

So I thought I would post something orginal here today under the Disney category. I’ve link this category in Delicious under the Tag WDWCP, and there has been several hits though it (including a few from “Disney Enterprises, Inc.”, *waves to them*). So today I will tell a short story about my two experence at Disney-MGM studios being a Phone A Stranger for the Millionare show when I was doing my College Program in the Spring of 2002.

Well the first time it happened, I was visiting a fellow CP who worked for the FastPass part of operations (a possition I believe they have done away with since, but basicly they worked the fastpass entrance and line merging points at most fast pass attractions). So while talking to her, she got a message over her earpiece that they were about to call outside, and she asked if I wanted to do it, and of course I said yes. I forgot what the question was, but I guessed right, but the person in the hot seat did not agree with me, and they loss.

The 2nd time I was hanging out at the studios with the same person, and we were visiting with one of her co-workers who was doing Fast Pass for Millionare. It was the last show of the day, and it was running really late, so her friend was really itching to leave. We were actually down the steet a little bit (towards the back stage tour/meet micky) since there was really no need for him to stand around the fastpass distrabution. Then outta nowheres he gets a message that they are about to do the phone a friend, so we run over to the phone and he puts me on. The person in the hot seat was on the million point question! Which was pretty exciting since I’ve never been around when that was happing there (granted i’ve only done the attraction about 4-5 times). So when I get on the phone, and they asked me who I was and where I was from (got a bit of a cheer from a few people when I said up state NY). Once they told me it was the million point questions I made the comment “Wow… I’m nervous”, and of course it got a huge laugh from the audience, and a responce from the hot seat person saying something like “yeah, you think your nervous” (or something like that). I can not remember the exact question, but it had to do with a baseball person who was a grand martial at the rose parade. And sadly, I had no idea what the answer was, so I took a guess…. and sadly the person went with my choice…. and got it wrong…. and the answer was Lou Gehrig….

So needless to say, I ran away pretty quickly before the mob came out and got me for getting it wrong =P

So there is my story, I hope you all enjoyed it, leave some comments if you enjoyed it, and i’ll try to think up some more stories to tell.

And if you visit some cool websites that pertain to the WDW College Program, please share them and post the to Delicious website w/ the tag wdwcp!

No Microphone Needed…. | # | General — jimmybop @ 2:59 pm

I just read an Intresting article about being able to use Headphones as a Microphone. Although I have no tried it yet, It does sound very possible. Some times in the past when i was trying to hook up a microphone to the back of my unlit computer, I have pluged it into the speeker slot and have found that the microphone can work as a speeker, so yeah… why not the other way around??? So yeah, check out this article:

Even more Mitch jokes!!! | # | General, Quotes, Mitch Hedberg — jimmybop @ 4:51 pm

So there are from Mitch’s offical website www.mitchhedberge.net. They put up a message board there and these are some posts of non-CD jokes. I’m just picking the ones that made me laugh when I read them. (note: i’m copying and pasting from the thread, so the spelling errors and what not are not mine…. although if i did type them, they would come out the same way…. Also some might repeat from previous posts… i’m to lazy to go look)

“i got new balance shoes on, but their old, so i keep falling”

” a burrito is just a sleeping bag for ground beef ”

“i wished they made a fajita scented cologne, that shit smells fucking good”

“my apartment is haunted, i came home the other day and i saw a sheet lying on the ground, i thought it was a ghost that had passed out, so i kicked the mother fucker”

“A waiter came up to me backstage and said, ‘I got a joke for you,’ so I said what am I supposed to give you in return, a drink?”

“did you ever think a hippapotamous was just a really cool appotamous?”

“my belt holds my pants up but my belt loops hold my belt up. whose the real star of the show? what’s going on down there?”

“Last time I called Shotgun we had rented a limo…. I fucked up”

“I rent a lot of cars, you know, ‘cause I go on the road. I rent cars
and when I drive a rental car, I don’t know what’s going on with it,
right? So a lot of times I drive, like, for ten miles with the
emergency brake on. That doesn’t say a lot for me, but it really
doesn’t say a lot for the “emergency brake.” It’s really not an
“emergency brake”, it’s an “emergency make-the-car-smell-funny lever.”"
